Behind (You) Hospitality — A Collaboration Project

Two Sides of the Same House

Every restaurant runs on two worlds — the kitchen and the dining room. Ordenare was built by one lifer from each.

It started with a Google search. Two companies, two states apart, with names so similar it couldn't be ignored — Behind Hospitality and Behind You Hospitality. Curiosity got the best of both founders. One reached out. They met the very next day.

They told each other their stories, and the symmetry was almost unfair. Andrew had spent his career in the back of the house — behind the pass, running kitchens, building menus, managing food costs down to the ounce. Jay had spent his in the front of the house — working the floor, running dining rooms, managing events, and mastering the guest experience end to end.

Both had reached the same crossroads: a way to move beyond the four walls of a single operation. A way to take their technical know-how and decades of combined experience in the industry and put them to work for more restaurants, more caterers, more small businesses — the operators who deserve enterprise-grade tools without enterprise-grade overhead.

By the end of an hour-long conversation, a collaboration was already forming. This platform is what came of it: every screen shaped by someone who has actually worked the line, and someone who has actually worked the room.
