Privacy Policy
Effective July 22, 2026
Ordenare ("we," "us") provides an operations platform for catering businesses ("Operators") and the clients they serve ("Hosts" and their event guests). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account information — name and email address used to sign in.
- Business and event data — the records Operators and Hosts create in the platform: clients, events, proposals, contracts, menus, recipes, guest lists, RSVPs, dietary notes, and messages.
- Technical basics — standard server logs (IP address, browser type) used for security and reliability. We do not run advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To operate the platform: authentication, storing and displaying your records, and syncing information between an Operator and their Hosts.
- To send transactional email you request, such as sign-in links.
- To protect the service: fraud prevention, audit logging, and debugging.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.
Dietary and allergy information
Guest dietary restrictions and allergy notes exist solely so caterers can serve guests safely. They are visible only to the event's Operator and Host and are never used for any other purpose.
Who processes it
Ordenare runs on vetted infrastructure providers: Supabase (database and authentication, hosted on AWS in the United States) and Cloudflare (content delivery and security). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
Access and isolation
Every record is scoped to its organization with database-level row security. Hosts see only their own events. Operators see only their own business. All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS).
Retention and deletion
We keep your records for as long as your account is active. Operators may archive records at any time; on written request we will delete an account and its associated personal data, subject to legal record-keeping obligations.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your personal data, correct it, or ask for deletion. Reach us through your Ordenare account or your catering company's coordinator, and we will respond promptly.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note the new effective date here and notify active accounts.
